Unacceptable
I told myself that I shall be discreet when writing about work, lest a colleague chanced these pages. Let's give it a shot shall we? With the story of how a repair works contract expired in July this year and was not bothered with until a major equipment failed us and there's a lot of high level management answering to do. Somebody might lose his job. Then again, in this organisation I'm working for, hardly anyone ever got fired. But how can this be allowed to happen? Has it been overlooked?And there's a mystery looming.. about how the superintendent suspected and proved that the wrong zones were opened and the right ones were closed for production and injection. Those familiar with the industry would know that a simple error as such could cost millions of USD in losses. To err is human but in the professional monetary driven world, are these acceptable?! I don't think so.
