Customised Newsweek

Found another memo under my door last night. Was reprimanded for having dinner after ordering packed food. The way it was written made me feel like a criminal. It was as though I've been doing it every single day. Based on my recollection I've only done it 3 or 4 times. Can I be blamed for being tempted to dine properly if my schedule suddenly changes and the packed food is horrible? The packed food cost a trifling GBP 2 tops while I've paid fees for a GBP 4.50 dinner. And they dare talk about being just ! And what about the amount of leftovers they keep having to chuck every night? And the girls behind the counter had the nerve to talk about me at breakfast this morning as they were serving me. What? Do they think I'm an idiot? I may not be very smart but I'm not impaired, and especially so after a warning letter. In fact my level of alertness in the dining hall had quadrapled (naturally) - in the quest for the culprits. Well they've just let me in on that little secret. Thank you and welcome to my bad books.

Madrid's terrorists attack. Who do u think did it? ETA? AlQaeda network? Scary ..particularly the fact that it was in Europe. Thinking about the massive tube and the bus networks here which I'm a patron of.

Saw "Down With Love" a few hours ago. Cheesey lines aside (perhaps they have a purpose i.e. to enhance the recreation of 1962 New York..umm..then again, the lines were quite clever. Oh come on Nurul, make up your mind. They cannot be both. Or can they?), its a cute & interesting film. Also goes to show that good art direction could turn an average looking bloke (in this case Ewan McGregor) into a knee-weakening gentleman on the silver screen. And oh, if Miss Nancy Brown is so smart, how could she have fallen in love with an arrogant promiscuous bastard who was clearly chauvinistic? Isnt that more of an infatuation or a crush than being in love? Anyway, would I recommend viewing? Yes.

The oil & gas industry is not doing well at all in my opinion. First the decline in the US economy, then Iraq, then Putin's jailing of Yukos's boss, Mr What 's His Face (btw his intelligent good looks is my type, i think) and now Shell's bombshell.

Will be finishing my 20 years of formal education in less than 3 months and for the first time in my life, I dont know exactly what it is that I want to do...sigh...
