Reading is fun
Do make time to read the letters sent to Malaysiakini. Current materials are mainly on the upcoming elections. Feel the heat and witness another mockery to the Malaysian purpotedly fair executive system. Malaysia's political scene is such an embarassment that to say that it's a big joke would be euphemistic. And the pseudonyms drama is no drama after all. I agree that anonymity spells cowardliness and I lament the fact that I am one of those less courageous lot. No idea as to when this would change though. The emerging thinking, caring and pro-active Gen-X Malaysians has not yet reached the threshold number to make the desired impact, hence the difference. Let's face it. Malaysian youths are largely complacent, ignorant and the only things on their lazy minds are to spend more money on trash and to imitate more useless trends. Nonetheless, in the spirit of enlightenment, what's of greater importance in my opinion is that the writers' points get across. And as long as people keep on writing, at least the targets would not be able to nestle comfortably.
