KC: Hello (Husky, throaty, croaky. Baghu bangon tidoq ka apa I pon donno la).
gin: Hello. Kakcik. I thought u said u'd be due in May.
KC: No. Next week but my doctor wants me to deliver today. Eh sat. Call me back in 15 minutes.
gin: Takpa. Bagi Y** cakap ngan Abg Hafiz.
KC: Dia tidoq.
gin: Laa..awat dia tidoq?
KC: Eh Y**, I have to go. Nah cakap ngan abg Hafiz.
AH: Hello. (another suara baghu bangon tidoq).
gin: AH. Mcm mana boleh haghi ni pulak tiba2?
AH: Skarang ni kan ade technology. (Notice the dialect. He's not one of us). Eh Y**.Nanti call balik.

6th Apr morning (UK time)

After 2 months of not calling home (yes, u may think that I'm an anak durhaka) had a long chat with mom & Kak Chak (the eldest).

Only towards the end did we talk about Kak Cik. We managed to sort out the dispute between my younger bro & I over who gets to carry forward the addressing terminology "Su" cos as it is right now, I'm known as Kak Su. According to my then 17 yr old bro (now he's 20), since he's the youngest it's only legitimate if he gets it cos if both of us are Mak Su & Pak Su respectively, how will the kids address his wife (he thinks too far ahead..i know)? And I'll end up with Mak Cik (NO WAY!!!!). Mom said Ash will be called Pak Cu or Pak Usu (Kampong gila. Padan Muka dia! LOL.)

Kak Chak: B****. (By now, u might have noticed that I have several different names amongst friends and family. Don't ask. It's a loooong story. That probably explains why I'm such a confused individual). Kak Cik has just given birth about half an hour ago...

Kak Chak: I congratulated her & guess what? She congratulated me back *laughed*.
gin: Let me guess... Cos u r an aunt now?
Kak Chak: Yes.
gin: Bla, bla, bla

CONGRATULATIONS! U should name her Whoda so that she'll grow up as cool as her aunt. Rest well.

Hannah = kasih sayang, Amirah = puteri.

And I shall call her Mira so that I could say "I'm talking to you, Mira!" each time I'm telling her off. Yeah, just like that scene in the film "Mira Edora" starring Noor Kumalasari and Julia Rais. That'll be fun.
